NFA Warns of Fraudulent Phishing Emails

On May 13, 2020 the NFA sent Notice to Members I-20-21 warning that institutions have reported an increase in fraudulent phishing emails purported to be from the institution or the institution’s employees. These emails contain potential malware or cyber attacks that could harm your Firm. The NFA emphasized that “All legitimate emails from NFA will come from an address ending in @nfa.futures.org or @nfa-swaps-proficiency-requirements.moonami.com in the case of NFA’s Swaps Proficiency Requirements.” Consider advising employees to remain vigilant.
